UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) is an organization that provides humanitarian and developmental help to children and mothers in developing countries. The organization was created in December 11, 1946 by the United Nations General Assembly. Key Club member supports UNICEF by Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF throughout the month of October, asking for changes and donations from the community into a paper made box.

Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization that funds children's hospitals, medical research and community awareness of children's healthy issues in Northern America. This organization was founded in 1983 by the Osmond family, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Key Club members participate in different service projects to help and raise money for the cause, for example; volunteering at local children's hospitals, host cloth drives and hosting movie nights for patients.

March of Dimes is a nonprofit organization that improves the health of mothers and babies in need in the United States. The organization was founded in 1938 by Franklin D. Roosevelt, a former president of the United States as "National foundation for Infantile Paralysis", the foundation changed the name to March of Dimes by Eddie Cantor. Key Clubbers supports the charity all year long by hosting service projects, educating others about the crisis of preterm birth and raising donations.

You can join during Club Rush in the beginning of the school year and all year long, every member is required to pay dues of $15; which will split between International, District, and Club.
When and where are the meetings?
Monterey Trail Key Club meetings are usually hosted on Wednesdays in the Multi-purpose after school or Mr. Jacinto's room (HJ-9).

We are a part of Division 7 South. Our colors are orange and white, representing the Orange Monsters.
What is a dcm?
DCM stands for Division Council Meeting. A DCM is hosted each month, where all clubs in D7S gather together to share club, division, and district updates. DCMs are a great opportunity to interact and make friends with members and officers from different clubs!

Division 7 South is part of Region 16 which includes; D7 South Monsters, D7 North Bees, D7 West Ghosts, D27 North Grizzlies, D27 South Koi Fish, D44 North Ninjas, D44 South Dinos, and D44 West Firefoxes.

District FAQ:What are the district positions?
District Governor
District Governor is responsible for the overall operations of the district board. They train district officers, appoint committees and assign directives, build and maintain relationships with Kiwanis Family leadership and communicates district needs to the international. District Secretary District Secretary is responsible for regular formal check ups and communicate with district boards. They work with club secretaries in order to get accurate monthly report forms. District Treasurer District Treasurer is responsible for monitoring district fiances, creating and filling all reports and coordinating dues to collect within districts, division and clubs. They also contributes to the district newsletter and support different club treasurers. What is fall rally and when is it?
Fall Rally is an event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP). Fall Rally North is usually hosted at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California.
What is District Convention and When/where will it be held?
District Convention is a district-wide event where hundreds of Key Club members from California, Nevada, and Hawaii come together to enjoy competitions, forums, elections, and so much more! DCON 2021 will be held on April 9-11, 2021 in Ontario, California at the Ontario Convention Center.
